Transport Workers Union of America, Local 252 is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Islandia, NY

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate individual
- Provide information and assistance to visitors, clients, and employees
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain office supplies as needed
- Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks as needed

- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role preferred
- Knowledge of union office procedures is a plus
- Strong clerical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small office environment to interact and assist with our members. Ability to prioritize tasks and possess strong organizational skills are a must.
